2013 Glass Ceiling Awards
America's workplace has been and continues to be dominated by men, especially in the area of leadership. Women are significantly underrepresented in both the Boardrooms and C-Suites. Nonetheless, some women have successfully overcome numerous barriers and made it to the top. The Louisiana Diversity Council seeks to recognize and honor these women, who have not only achieved personal success, but who have also made it possible for other women to more easily follow in their footsteps.
Criteria for Recognition:
Demonstrates leadership excellence
Maintains a record of accomplishments in areas of expertise
Bears a record of a steady increase in responsibility within her career
Exhibits positive influence on those underneath her leadership
Displays integrity and portrays highest ethical standard among colleagues and individuals
To submit an individual for consideration:
Submit individual's name, company name and job title (if applicable).
Submit, in bullet point form, the reasons why the individual should be considered based on the criteria listed above.
